The Translander balances the tipping point between a drop bar mountain touring bike and a gravel shredder. We believe it’s the ultimate hybrid at home on gravel roads and trails whether naked or loaded up with racks and bags on a bikepacking adventure. We developed this “standard-sized” model to offer a robust adventure bike platform. The brazed joints are left raw because this fits the “toughness” of the bike and cuts the cost, so you can spend your money on a tent and depart on an epic bikepacking adventure. Outside is free!

We developed 3 standard sizes for those who have standard body proportions and don’t need a custom bicycle fit.

Ultimate Flexibility

Whether you’re in search of a gravelbike, a commuter or a travel bike, the Translander offers a flexible platform to build just what you want. You can leave the bike raw and shred some gravel roads. You can mount mudguards and racks to build a solid commuter, or further spec it with bikepacking mounts to depart on an epic bikepacking adventure. Tire clearance for 700c wheels with tires up to 47mm or 650B wheels with tires up to 2.1 inch give you all the possibilities you want. Swapping between multiple wheelsets (700c and 650B) with different tire sets turns this bike into a hugely versatile off road bike.

Built for Comfort

The Translander features a comfy “high-stack” frame design that lets you choose between a very comfortable, somewhat upright, riding position when riding in the hoods and a more sporty position when riding in the drops. The sloping top tube will allow you to spec it with a dropper seatpost, while providing enough space for a large framebag. The long chainstays will add stability to your ride, while the front end is built for fun. The Columbus steel tubeset adds the right amount of flex.
